It is possible to evade and counterattack
Lightning's weapon can morph into other weapons in battles. For example from gun to blade
You can score multiple hits on an enemy, or an enemy can have multiple targets
You can hit multiple enemies at once with specific attacks/weapons
It is possible to store multiple commands and execute them at once
There is no MP in the game, each spell/skill has a maximum number of use or require charging to use
The game seamlessly transition between field and battle scenes
In the field you can see the enemies, warning signs appear on enemies who aware of your presence
There is a Chain Bonus and Break Bonus system in the game, details unknown
You can visually see the enemy name and the HP in battle

Red Faction Maxes out Xbox 360 - Volition turn to Xbox 720

The power the 360 may not be as great as the PlayStation 3, but atleast it can still play games. But, once again it looks like another 09 title has, so called, "max out" the 360's disc power.

In an interview with Gameplayer, regarding Red Faction: Guerrilla, producer Rick White claims that they have maxed out the power of the Xbox 360 and have already starting looking towards the Xbox 720 for their other projects.

Rumor: Resident Evil 2 Remake being for the wii?

Now that the Wii is confirmed as the new home of violent hardcore gaming is the time right for a remake of good old Resi 2?

If the rumor is correct — and when has a random post on a Japanese fan site ever been wrong? — then we will be treated to a full Wii-ified remake, with some additional story elements. There will be a new 'swordsman' enemy (sword waggling minigame, anyone?) and 'Resident Evil 4 Viewpoints', which could mean anything - possibly 3rd-person over-the-shoulder stuff?

Rumor: Batman: Dark Knight Game Canned?

According to AustralianGamer, possibly the gaming industries worst kept secret has now been canned. Their article states that the Dark Knight video game has been canned by Pandemic Studios due to it running behind schedule. But, right now it's all early speculation, but most of the rumors of the Dark Knight video game basically pointed to fact that the game was or is sill in development.

Lag is “huge problem” for SFIV online

When speaking to OXM an interview SFIV producer, Yoshinori Ono, said that the console version of SFIV has some lag problems.

“Obviously, lag will be a huge problem for online play,” he continues “We’re working on it. Compared to other games such as Virtua Fighter and Soul Calibur, they’ve got replay functions and so forth. It’s quite difficult for 3D Street Fighter at the moment.”

New Resident Evil 5 info in next Famitsu

New details on Capcom’s forthcoming horror title Resident Evil 5 are to be featured in the next issue of Japanese publication, Weekly Famitsu, via a free DVD. Rumours of new coverage emerged earlier this week on various Resident Evil fan sites, with official confirmation coming today in the form of a message posted on Capcom’s 25th anniversary website. According to a translation made by members of The Horror Is Alive (a popular RE community site), the text in the image reads, ‘Biohazard 5 Exclusive Footage + Interview’ (for those unaware, Resident Evil is known as Biohazard in Japan) The magazine is due to hit shelves in Japan on March 28. The May issue of EGM is in the can and on its way to subscribers, and you know what that means: more juicy rumors from the masked lips of Quartermann. Let's take a look at what's happening in the shady underbelly of gaming this month:

Did you love Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction as much as we did? If so, you should be excited to hear that Insomniac is working on a sequel much sooner than we'd expected -- in the form of a downloadable PlayStation Network game! We heard further evidence of this earlier this week, so just consider the respectable word of Q-mann further fuel to the fire.

And whatever happened to that Tecmo Bowl revival that was announced last year? Quartermann says the game is still in the works, with a classic version coming to the DS and a revamped, modern remake headed to the Wii. Look for more info on that in the pages of EGM very soon...

Ever since Disney bought his studio, thus crushing our dreams for Ninja Gold, we've wanted to know just what the heck ace developer Warren Spector is working on. Hints were dropped on GFW Radio, but Quartermann claims to have the skinny. Word is that Spector's new Disney project will be a platformer looking to compete with a certain pesky plumber. And who's big enough to take on Nintendo's star? Only the mouse himself!
